The official category list is broad: AI, robotics, vehicle tech and advanced mobility, digital health, smart home and appliances, quantum, space tech, gaming, sustainability, food tech and more. Startups have a dedicated area, Eureka Park. C Space focuses on content and entertainment, and CES Foundry, a newer hub for AI and quantum, runs January 6–8.

For scale, the independently audited CES 2026 figures showed 148,392 attendees, more than 4,100 exhibitors and 2.6 million net square feet of exhibit space. CES 2027 spans 12 official venues and more than 2.5 million net square feet.

Who Should Attend CES 2027

CES is for business and industry professionals, consultants, investors, and anyone attending on behalf of a company in the consumer technology industry. Journalists, analysts and content creators register separately as media.

The 2026 audit gives a picture of the audience: 86,679 industry professionals, 7,037 media and 55,841 international attendees from 141 countries, regions and territories. Friends, family and the general public are not admitted. Every registrant must be 18 or older and must submit proof of industry affiliation.

What Exhibitors Can Expect at CES

Exhibitors work across a multi-campus show, so visitors often plan routes between venues. A booth needs a clear reason for people to stop and a way to capture their details once they do.

Exhibitor personnel register through the Exhibitor Dashboard, where the company's Registration Coordinator manages badge allotments, invitation codes and lead retrieval orders. Booth staff must register as Exhibitor Personnel using the invited email address. Contractors working in a booth during show hours are covered by the same category.

Planning Your Visit to CES 2027

Register early. Submit your CTA/CES account details, a headshot, date of birth, and one item from each proof-of-affiliation category. Reviews take up to five business days. Current standard pass pricing is $149 through November 30 and $349 from December 1 through January 9. Premium is $1,450 and $1,750 for the same periods. Badges. Badges are never mailed. Each person collects their own at a remote pickup location before going to a show venue, with government-issued photo ID.

Cancellations. Written cancellations by December 9, 2026 are refundable less a $50 fee. Later cancellations are not refunded.

Getting around. Discounted Monorail tickets can be added to a badge during registration.

CTA names Maritz as the only official CES 2027 registration vendor, so treat unsolicited registration offers with caution.
